This old bug pin looks like glass but is made of Lucite, a clear plastic. The body has a yellow cast to it while the wings have a green color either applied or added to the plastic. These heavily carved green catalin rosettes are a two piece buckle. The green is more intense on the back and in the deeper cuts of the flower and the edges of the flowers are a lighter yellow green giving it nice dimension. Each carved piece has a row of rhinestones across the center. With the two pieces attached it measures about 2 7/8" by 1 3/4".
