This is an antique plate with a multicolored depiction of a courting couple made in France by Sarreguemines. The mark that appears on the underside of the plate was in use between 1870 and 1920. The plate measures 6" in diameter and weighs 5.8 oz. It is in good condition with the exception of moisture intrusion that appears as a water stain around the upper and side rim of the plate (see last close-up photo) - otherwise, there are no chips, cracks or other wear. This is a wonderful art deco period hand painted pitcher made by Myott. The piece is made in a naïve, yet very attractive, pinched spout form with orange, brown and blue coloring. It measures 8 ¼" in height and 6 1/8" in diameter at its bottom - it weighs 2 lbs. It is marked on the underside with a crown in gold accompanied by text that reads "Myott, Son & Co. This is a wonderful pair of vintage miniature pottery pieces made by Hoganas of Sweden. One is made in the form of a tall vase while the other is made in a bowl form. Both are glazed in green and gray with blue accenting appearing on the vase. The vase is inscribed "Hoganas" on the underside with an initial "M" - the bowl has a more cryptic inscription. This is a vintage stoneware pitcher, made by Buchan of Portobello, Scotland in a floral pattern, very similar to their well known "Thistle" pattern. The pitcher measures 7 ¼" in length from the tip of the spout to the back of the handle with a height of 7 ¼" - it weighs 2 lbs and 3 oz. It is stamped on its underside with the "Buchan Finest Stoneware Portobello Scotland" thistle mark and with the numbers "61/60 M2 40" - it is signed with the initial "P". This is a wonderful pottery figurine, one of a series of "Gay Nineties" figurines made by Brayton pottery of Laguna Beach, California during the early 1940s. The underside of the figurine is hand incised "Brayton Laguna Pottery ©" - it is also marked with the letter B in black. This piece is pictured in the book "Collector's Encyclopedia of California Pottery Second Edition" on page 66. The book dates the piece to 1941, although the mark is dated to between 1930 and 1937. This is a wonderful oven casserole dish made by Stavangerflint of Norway. Stavangerflint was in business from 1949 until 1968 when it merged with Figgjo Flint. This dish is decorated in the "Bambus" pattern, designed by Inger Waage. It features a graphic design of a lemon, seasonings and fish in yellow, blue, green and black. The rim is decorated with a linear pattern against yellow, very 50s retro looking. The dish measures 13 ¼" by 8 ¼" across its top with a height of 2 1/8".
