This is a vintage stoneware pitcher, made by Buchan of Portobello, Scotland in a floral pattern, very similar to their well known "Thistle" pattern. The pitcher measures 7 ¼" in length from the tip of the spout to the back of the handle with a height of 7 ¼" - it weighs 2 lbs and 3 oz. It is stamped on its underside with the "Buchan Finest Stoneware Portobello Scotland" thistle mark and with the numbers "61/60 M2 40" - it is signed with the initial "P".
