1998 Hallmark Christmas Ornament "Heavenly Melody" by Bob Haas/LaDene Votruba, Archi

$22 USD1998 Hallmark Christmas Ornament "Heavenly Melody" by Bob Haas/LaDene Votruba, Archives Coll.

Home Decor:Accessories:Hallmark:Ornament:Angel
I love these graceful angels. This lovely creation was from the Hallmark Archives Collection, was designed by Bob Haas and released in 1998. It is QX-6576 and has the original box and price tag intact. She measures 4 3/4" and is clothed in a lovely green and gold gown with white flowing scarf. She is playing a lyre, I believe you call it. The iridescence of this piece catches the light from all directions and makes her that much more mystical and delicate. Her features are gorgeous.
Hallmark's Carousel Ornament, Wild Tiger, Fifth in the Series, 2008

$18 USDHallmark's Carousel Ornament, Wild Tiger, Fifth in the Series, 2008

Home Decor:Accessories:Hallmark:Ornament:Carousel:Wild Tiger
I'm not quite sure how this worked, but on the back of this box, it states that this Wild Tiger is the fifth and final in the series (2008), but the Happy Kangaroo also states that it complete the Carousel Ride collection (2008). The only conclusion I can come to is that they were both issued as the final ornaments to the collection. Feel free to correct me if I'm all wet. The back of this box has the following: "Saddle a tiger--the ride will be wild, past favorite landmarks you knew as a child- ...
1981 Hallmark's "Sailing Santa" Ornament QX4395

$62 USD1981 Hallmark's "Sailing Santa" Ornament QX4395

Home Decor:Accessories:Hallmark:1981 Ornament:Santa:Hot Air Balloon
I am offering this darling Hallmark ornament for your perusal. It is the 1981 "Sailing Santa" -- Santa Claus soaring over the countryside in his Merry Christmas hot air balloon. How sweet does it get? Santa comes with the original box, which has a scene of the snowy countryside flowing by beneath him, as he is waving to those looking forward to his arrival on Christmas Eve. This piece is 5" tall and the box is complete, including the plastic divider in the box, which I imagine is easily lost in ...
Hallmark's "Joyous Angel" 1999, #QX6787

$15 USDHallmark's "Joyous Angel" 1999, #QX6787

This beautiful ornament is by Hallmark. It was issued in 1999 and is called the "Joyous Angel". She is dressed in a flowing blue gown with halo and ivory wings. This ornament can be found on page 98 of the "Collector's Value Guide for Hallmark Keepsake Ornaments," 4th ed.
Hallmark's "Santa's Flight" QX 138-1, 1980

$92 USDHallmark's "Santa's Flight" QX 138-1, 1980

Home Decor:Accessories:Hallmark:Ornament
Now, this is a cutie! It is Hallmark's "Santa's Flight" from their dated collection. It was issued in 1980 and is a decorated tin ornament of Santa in the basket under a blimp with the propeller guiding their way. A rather cold place to be on Christmas Eve, wouldn't you say? The blimp is suspended in a glassine form with a scene of a home with children playing outside with snowballs. They are waving at Santa and he is reciprocating in kind. It is a darling ornament and one of the early ones. ...

This is a darling ornament and very collectible. It is Hallmark's #QX403-7 and it was released in 1983 as part of the Here Comes Santa series. I have found values listed from $200 to $305...even $275 without the box. This Santa Express comes with the original box and see-thru cover, tab and price tag. It is a darling figue of Santa utilizing a hand-powered railroad car, as something must have happened to his sleigh and reindeer. It even still has all four wheels. This can be found on page 616 of ...
Hallmark Christmas Sleigh Ride, 1998, QX6556

$22 USDHallmark Christmas Sleigh Ride, 1998, QX6556

Home Decor:Accessories:Hallmark:Ornaments
I'm not sure what you would call this configuration, but as you can see, the left front leg of the reindeer and the right back leg are attached to a wheel which stabilizes the sleigh. It must work well, since there is only one reindeer pulling what many others were required to do in the past. Santa's having a ball, wouldn't you say? This ornament is Hallmark #QX6556 which was designed by Ken Crow and released in 1998. You can find this ornament on page 108 in the "Collector's Value Guide ...
Hallmark's Carousel with Santa and Deer, 1980

$52 USDHallmark's Carousel with Santa and Deer, 1980

Home Decor:Accessories:Hallmark:Ornaments
This is one of the earlier Hallmark ornaments which is of Santa and his reindeer on a carousel. It was from the Tree Trimmer Collection and was issued in 1980. It comes with the original box and form, as well as the original box and clear cover. The light areas of the box are the folds where the flocking did not adhere during spraying or whatever application method they used. It is simply the reflection of the plastic form in the creases/folds. In other words, it came that way. I have reduced ...
Hallmark's Yesteryears "Santa" - 1976, QX1821

$85 USDHallmark's Yesteryears "Santa" - 1976, QX1821

Home Decor:Accessories:Hallmark:Ornaments
Hallmark had a Yesteryears series and this Santa is part of that group. He was released in 1976 and is an elfin type of Santa with a large stocking cap with JOY across the front. He is made to appear carved and stands on his ice skates facing toes-outwards. Cute little bugger. He comes in the original box which has a couple issues. One corner has a tiny cut and the bottom of the box has a puncture, but the area is closed. It has been pressed in a bit to show the shape of part of the form which ...

Hallmark's "A Pony For Christmas" ornament from 1998 was part of the New Collector's Series and designed by Linda Sickman. This horse has a real leather blanket and reins and is being ridden by a Teddy bear, of course. The horse is on four red wheels. The number "98" is on the leather blanket. This would be a great treasure for that child or grandchild born in 1998 to hang ...

$20 USDHallmark's Tonka 1956 Suburban Pumper No. 5, 1999

Home Decor:Accessories:Hallmark:Ornaments:Tonka Suburban Pumper No. 5
What a cutie this ornament is, and I'll bet it will be a favorite of anyone who collects firetrucks or fire engines. This is Tonka's depiction of the 1956 Suburban Pumper No. 5 and is a sleek little beauty. It was made of die cast metal and the detail is wonderful. I apologize, but I had to open the cellophane to get the pumper out for the photo opportunity. Sorry! This ornament comes with the original box with price tab intact. It would be sweet displayed under a small feather tree with other ...

Hallmark Keepsake Ornament "Jolly Wolly Santa" 1991

$22 USDHallmark Keepsake Ornament "Jolly Wolly Santa" 1991

Home Decor:Accessories:Hallmark:Ornament
I imagine this might also be described as a roly poly, as it wobbles from side to side. It is Hallmark's Keepsake ornament from 1991 and is named "Jolly Wolly Santa." This ornament is made of pressed tin. The top of this ornament twists off and becomes a candy container. There were three Jolly Wolly ornaments in this collection. He is a nutcracker-type ornament which is just for display, not to be used to actually crack nuts. Son comes in the original box with the price tab intact. Hallmark's "Merry Redbird" Tree Trimmer Ornament, 1980

$50 USDHallmark's "Merry Redbird" Tree Trimmer Ornament, 1980

Home Decor:Accessories:Hallmark:Ornaments
They say great things come in small packages. This sweet little Merry Redbird is from the Tree Trimmer Collection of Hallmark. They must not have made many of them, as the book value is $70. It comes with its own box which is in good condition except for a small area where a sticker was removed and part of the box front came with it. Inside the top flap is another flap which seats into the top so that the bird is confined to a smaller space. It is a little difficult to situate, but does finally ...

I just happened to have eaten Chinese recently and I brought home the fortune cookies...you know how full you get when you eat Chinese. Anyway, the package was on the counter when I was taking photos of this "Fortune Cookie Elf" Keepsake Ornament and I compared fortune cookies. They were so identical in texture and looks that if there hadn't been an elf sitting on Hallmark's fortune cookie, I might not have known the difference. This ornament is that close to reality. The number for this one is ...
