This lovely figurine was issued in 1994 by Lenox as part of the Life of Christ Collection and influenced by the poem attributed to Mary Stevenson who wrote the poem "Footprints..." in 1936. For years, the poem was signed "anonymous" or "unknown" but Ms. Stevenson ran across the original paper with the poem and it was authenticated as being over 50 years old at that time.
