This flour sack has a patent date which indicates it was patented in 1948. It has the original label and has never been used. I believe it may have been a salesman's sample, as I have several bags with different company labels. The label for this one is La Mona 25# Family Flour, Arizona Milling Co., with six towns listed. It measures 26" x 26 1/4" and has a pattern with chartreuse, purple and turquoise flowers, moths and butterflies. This sack has never been used and is still stitched.
