You are viewing a wonderful old Picasso vintage print called The Lovers, the original of which was painted in 1923 in oil. It is a nice-sized print with overall measurements of 11-1/2" x 14-3/4" and an image size of 10" x 13-5/8". The soft shades of orange, pink, purple, and gray make it a great candidate for working well with several choice color schemes. This Madonna and Child lithograph was printed after a painting by Italian Renaissance artist Sandro Botticelli of Florence, Italy. Born as Allessandro de Mariano Filipepi, the artist worked under the Botticelli nickname of Sandro which originally had been a nickname for his older brother meaning "little barrel." We're offering this beautiful Andrea del Sarto's religious lithograph titled The Madonna of the Harpies, the original of which was accomplished with tempera painted on wood back in 1517.
