Impressively sized rich gold tone pin measures 3.25" in length without the clutch and a little bit over 3.5" with the clutch in place. Domed top is surrounded by a ringed frame and is 1" in diameter and has a rise of .5". When worn, the double chain moves in a swinging or swaying motion. Can be worn in either upright or horizontally. I think it would make a stunning decoration on a hat as well as on a purse perhaps.
