This figural Johnny Griffin desk inkwell measures 6" in length and 3 1/4" in width. It is in very good condition. It does have a spot on the back where someone removed some of the finish to presumably check the type of base metal. This is a modern reproduction of an old piece. This inkwell is made of solid brass with an antiqued bronze finish. It is marked on the back with a number "4587". It makes a nice desk accessory at a fraction of the price for the original.
