This figural acorn trinket box measures 2 1/2" in height. It is in very good condition, although it does have a few nicks off the button or stem of the acorn. It is marked "© '97 TPHC by MCF". The acorn has a decal of a squirrel holding onto an apple on one side. The hinge is in good working condition. This would make a great piece to hide a small special gift for someone.

The story behind this trinket box is in Norway the family would put money in these boxes and hide them under a bed. This was supposed to bring good luck and wealth. We can't say for certain this story is true, but is sounds interesting.
