This lovely Vintage planter has an adorable baby boy reclining in front of the Stork Planter with one of his little feet up in the air. It is very nicely hand painted and the detail in the boy's face is wonderful, he looks a lot like a piano baby. The stork has her head down as if tending the baby. This is a really pretty piece of Homer Laughlin dinnerware. It is decorated with a garland of pink roses and forget-me-nots, and green leaves around the belly of the bowl and the rim of the under plate. It is designed with two spouts, and the rims are trimmed in gold. This lovely piece is 7" wide, and 2 ¾" high, and has the factory mark from the 1920s. This Old Japan Mischievous Monkey is absolutely precious and by the look on his face, you can tell that he is up to no good. The artist really managed to catch that wonderful mischievous look, that is so typical of Monkeys. He is hand painted and has very good detail, he is 3 1/2" high and a tad more that 1 3/4" across at the base.
