This vintage 1940s, turned wooden Salt Box was made to hang on the wall. It is a light wood, probably Maple, with a clear varnish and still has the very attractive, original decals of red roses, yellow daisies and blue forget-me-nots. SAL is all that is left where it used to say salt, but other than that it is in very good condition. It stands 9" high and 4" wide and 4 1/2" deep.
