This Occupied Japan Butter Pat is decorated with a country scene with a couple in period dress. She is sitting and fanning herself, while he plays his flute. It has a nicely gilded scalloped shape and measures 3 1/4" across, stamped "Made in Occupied Japan" in red on the bottom, made between 1945 to 1952. This pretty piece of china is in excellent condition with no signs of wear, part of an extensive collection purchased on our recent buying trip.
