This beautiful piece if from my personal collection. I purchased it at the National Milk Glass Convention auction In Dallas, TX in 2002. It is the Portieux Vallerysthal Chimeres covered butter. This piece can be seen in "The Milk Glass Book" by Frank Chiarenza & James Slater on page 213 in the lower left. This pretty Fenton piece is the popular Silver Crest pattern. This pattern is what got me started collecting Fenton glass - it's versatile, classy and elegant. SOLD Fenton Art Glass Waterlily & Cattails EAPG Amethyst Opalescent Bowl

SOLDSOLD Fenton Art Glass Waterlily & Cattails EAPG Amethyst Opalescent Bowl

Home Decor:Glass
A beautiful bowl made by Fenton Art Glass of Williamstown, West Virginia, circa 1908, the era of what is now referred to as EAPG - Early American Pattern Glass. The bowl is in great condition and is a lovely, amethyst purple color with opalescent edges. There *is* a small imperfection/chip on the base/bottom rim that is most likely from when the bowl was made - it is at the point where the mould seam ends on the base. There is a close-up in my 5th photo. It doesn't affect the beauty of the bowl ...
SOLD Blue Art Glass Decanter or Bottle with Teardrop Stopper

SOLDSOLD Blue Art Glass Decanter or Bottle with Teardrop Stopper

Home Decor:Glass
This is a really pretty item - a medium-turquoise blue glass decanter, with a very interesting stopper. The stopper is also glass, with a teardrop shape and a blown teardrop inside of it. The bottle, or decanter itself is a lovely blue glass color with "pigtails" on the outside. Those are pieces of the glass that were pulled out a bit while the glass was still hot, and they add to the decorative art glass effect. It has an irregular pontil. The decanter is 6¾" tall without the stopper - ...
