ABOUT ME - I'm mad about, some might say addicted to, 20th century vintage clothing, accessories, good retro items and mid-century Kitsch. I'm intrigued by past decades, how all the manufactured items burst on the scene after the 2nd world war. People all of a sudden had purchasing power and the manufacturing industry didn't let them down. All and sundry was made available and usually offered in a wide range of colors. Why there even was a "teen" market, never before had goods been offered to this "new" lot of buyers.
Every time there has been economic and political change the market has followed providing whatever was needed or "wanted" which was a new thing in itself. The "me" generation was born.
