These jewellery boxes were all the rage in the early 60's and usually given pride of place on a ladies dresser or vanity. It spoke of travel to exotic places when, if you couldn't go there in person, you could at least dream about it. The interior is almost like new, with hot pink cotton corduroy fabric surrounding the lid edge, lining 3/4's of the bottom and the ring holder plus the 2 compartments under the lid.
