This Edwardian ink well has wonderful clean lines and curving form with the simplicity of the design enhanced by the engraved, entwined letters P & W on the top. It is weighted sterling silver with the British hallmarks for Birmingham 1910 and the makers' mark PS or perhaps RS. The base has a diameter of 5 1/2" and the ink stands 3" high.
