This fabulous plate is one of a series featuring famous contemporary buildings in Toronto Canada in the early years of the 20th century. The wonderful blue on white transfer is of the Armories, built in 1893 to house Toronto's militia regiments. At the time it was the largest building of its type in Canada and North America for some time.
