SOLD - THANKS DIANA! This is an unusual and hard-to-find Shelley bone china plate commemorating the Royal Canadian Air Force. The RCAF was instituted 1924 and merged with Canada's other two armed services in 1968 to form the Canadian Armed Forces. The plate dates from the 1930-40's and the art deco influence is evident in the angular handles.
