These Lenten offering tins have been stored in an old New York State church since the-mid 1930's. The tins / banks were given to children and families to facilitate the saving of coins over the 40 Lenten period of prayer and sacrifice in preparation for Easter. The tins have not been used and are in excellent condition with some superficial pitting of the gold-tone surface caused by the basement dampness.
