This is a spectacular oil lamp with three fabulous deeply-embossed hearts on the font and great complementary detail on the stem and base. The color is a soft lemony custard and the glass is opaque. This is a stunning early 20th century electric lamp of two nudes with hands at their backs holding a platform which supports the flared glass shade within four acanthus leaves. The figures exhibit the streamlined lines typical of art deco design and the heads, with the absolute minimum of detail, are elegantly turned down and to the side.
