SOLD - THANKS TERRY! We have had a fair number of Victorian love tokens over the years but the higher denomination coins are few and far between. This love token is deeply engraved in fancy script with the name, Minnie, on the reverse of the 1881 American silver dollar. With a diameter of 1 1/2", this piece weighs 24.4 grams. SOLD - THANKS PAMELA! This is a stunning 19th Century bookchain and locket that tests as sterling silver. The locket is large, measuring 1 1/2" wide by 1 7/8" long, 2 3/4" long including the bale. It has a bold design with three undulating waved bands on the diagonal, framed on either side with elaborately engraved swirls. The locket opens easily and closes tightly and the side made to hold a photo of a loved one has the metal frame to secure it although is missing the glass.
