About Us
In 1994, I entered the world of retail jewelry, gifts & Judaica with no previous background other than the desire to bring specialty jewelry and gifts to Columbus that, up to that point, had only been available in other cities. Iʼve always had an eye for great art, so I used my "ooh-aah" barometer to search out the best-handcrafted jewelry, Judaica, art, and gifts available.

I traveled to all the markets that major department stores and galleries shopped, and was able to bring a constant flow of whimsical, colorful, and fabulous art to the area through my retail jewelry store in Grandview, Ohio. When my children started having children, I wanted to be able to visit and spend quality time with our growing family around the country. Since I closed my doors in 2006, Iʼve loved being a visible and important part of my grandchildrenʼs lives.

But due to popular demand from my loyal customers, and the itch to continue to seek out the unusual and extraordinary jewelry and gifts, Iʼve found the best of both worlds by opening up my collection to you here on The Terry Janis Collection website.
