A lovely portrait of a lady and her horses, this old print is in an oval tin frame with what appears to be the original glass. Dressed in a brilliant red riding habit, whip in hand, her stock tie is adorned with a horse shoe pin. A lovely old frame, a beautifully grained oak with ornate embellishments, it contains an old print of a mother and her child, she pointing out Australia on a globe. The frame measures 11.5" by 8" with the inside oval opening 6.25" by 4.5". There are some small areas of loss to the raised floral sprays on the side, as well as small bits on the top and bottom embellishments, but they are fairly difficult to notice. A charming depiction of young cats, these kittens are having a rollicking good time. There are eleven of them, tumbling and rolling and in general enjoying themselves. Such a beautiful old lithograph here, dating to the early 1900's, and wonderfully framed as well. A young woman in a red riding habit rests her cheek on her horse's withers, while he has a drink from the water trough. At her feet, her Saint Bernard gazes at her adoringly.
