SALE Vintage tin litho nesting, stacking blocks, nursery rhymes

$68 USD SaleSALE Vintage tin litho nesting, stacking blocks, nursery rhymes

Home Decor:Tins
From the famous English toy maker Chad Valley, a darling set of tin nesting and stacking blocks with wonderful nursery rhyme images. A few of them are Hickory, Dickory Dock, Old Mother Hubbard, The House that Jack Built, Baa Baa Black Sheep and Sing a Song of Sixpence. Colorfully done, the nursery rhymes wrap all around each tin, and on the top of three of the blocks, with the fourth having the Chad Valley information. The largest block is 4.75" tall, 4.5" in diameter, with the smallest 2.25" ...
Vintage British toffee tin, Christmas and Santa Claus c. 1950

$62 USDVintage British toffee tin, Christmas and Santa Claus c. 1950

Home Decor:Tins
Made for the English toffee firm of Fillery's, this tin features Santa, or Father Christmas, checking his list of Lucky Boys and Girls. Over his shoulder, a bag of toys, including a darling Golly or Golliwog. Octagonal in shape, with a lift off lid, this tin does have wear, as you can see. A spot of litho loss just above his list, some scratches and some pin sized dents. Still, it displays well, so I couldn't pass it up. This holiday tin is 5.25" by 4" by 1", a sweetie for the Christmas season.
Vintage English biscuit tin, coaching and horses

$26 USDVintage English biscuit tin, coaching and horses

Home Decor:Tins
A lovely old fashioned scene on the lid of this tin, with snappy horses pulling a fancy coach, while a gentleman with his two dogs looks on. The tin has a fancy shape and while the sides are in excellent condition, the lid has, as you can see, general overall wear. Still, the scene is clear and I don't mind a tin that shows it's age, but that's a personal preference for you to decide. It has a hinged lid, with the hinges in good working order, with the curved sides beautifully decorated in gilt ...
Vintage English Christmas tin, Santa, reindeer and sleigh

$65 USDVintage English Christmas tin, Santa, reindeer and sleigh

Home Decor:Tins
A candy tin from Britain, another of the Christmas tins in my shop, featuring Santa zipping across the sky in his sleigh. Our Father Christmas is driving his team of two reindeer, one of them with a red nose, so perhaps Rudolph? A half moon lights up the starry sky, with one bird carrying a sign that says Merry Christmas and another sitting on a stone marker that says Earth, 500 miles. At Santa's feet, milk bottles in a crate marked "Of human kindness" and at his back, a sack filled with toys. ...
British Christmas tin, Santa Claus, George Horner c. 1950

$95 USDBritish Christmas tin, Santa Claus, George Horner c. 1950

Home Decor:Tins
Made for George Horner toffee c. 1950 in England, this tin has a cheery image of Santa Claus, or Father Christmas on the lift off lid. Santa sports a long white beard and has a sack of toys over his shoulder, a Christmas tree in his other hand. With a impish twinkle in his eye, he is very jolly! The tin is in very nice condition for its age, octagonal in shape, and measures 5.25" by 4 1/8" by 1.25". These English holiday tins come in quite a variety and they are a fun collection for Christmas ...
