All original pair of matching Alacite glass boudoir (bedroom) lamps resembling shapely Ionic columns with scrolling volutes at top and footed square bases. Each is marked, "Aladdin" and "Pat. App. For" underneath. Both still have their original Bryant brass bulb ports with Bakelite adjustment knobs and cloth-covered cords with Gilbert plug ends. Colorless glass miniature lamp base with molded Greek Key design around outside edges of font and foot. Old glass with internal bubbles here and there. Little lamps like this were the forerunners of today's night-lights. They held enough fuel to stay lit through the night. "Patented Sept. 19 & Nov. 14, 1911" is molded into the glass on the flat edge of the lip. One very tiny chip at the end of a mold seam at top (see closeup photo), otherwise in great shape.
