Ceramic "Tonala" glazed stoneware napkin rings from our neighbor to the South, Mexico. Five ceramic napkin rings make up the set, all with a light blue & brown glaze, decorated with a flower with vines of foliage traveling across the oval rings. Each piece is signed on the back "Mexico". What a fun touch it would be to set a dining table full of great Mexican food with colorful cloth napkins set inside these hand crafted napkin rings. I haven't met a person that didn't like Mexican food....yummy ...

Purple tumbler glasses with hand painted silver flowers and scrolls, four in all. The glass is a wonderful Amethyst color with a reddish tone, though my green background does the color no favor in the photos. There are no marks as to who the maker was, but will attribute the set of four glasses to Murano from Italy. I am leaving the silver unpolished, for I like the silver oxidized. A Cutlery set by Sheffield "Atkinson Brothers" Cast Steel with Knife, Fork and Knife Sharpener. The handles are butterscotch Bakelite, maybe celluloid. They have a grain pattern like simulated bone which I have seen in celluloid, but not seen in bakelite. Maybe I should just call it early plastic. The handles are thick and sturdy with no discoloration. The Cutlery set is ready to be used for another 100 years.
