$20 USDFortune Pattern Bowls Hocking Glass Company

Home Decor:Glass:Depression Glass:Hocking Glass Co
These two small pink glass bowls were made by Hocking Glass Co. (1937 - 1938) in the Fortune pattern. The smallest bowl is the 4" berry bowl and the slightly larger bowl is the 4 1/2" dessert bowl. The bowls are in excellent condition - no chips or cracks that I can see. The bowls show some air bubbles and a few mold marks consistent with the manufacturing process of the time. Price is for both bowls.

This item is a rolled edge bowl in the Open Work pattern by the Lancaster Glass Company. This pattern was made in the 1930's. I think this is a very elegant piece. The pink glass is clear and the color of the pink is a soft hue. The lace edge glass border is in excellent condition. The way it dips down from the bowl is very graceful.
