Very large silverplated oyster or soup ladle in the old Antique Shell pattern by Anchor Rogers. There are some variations of this pattern but this one is marked with the "Anchor Rogers Anchor AA" mark. This piece measures 10-1/2" in length and has a 3-1/2" wide rippled shell bowl. The handle has a rounded end with a large raised shell shape on the tip. There is a fancy monogram just beneath the shell on the handle which looks like it may be an H or an L.
