This is a hard to find silverplated pattern called Melrose. The pattern dates back to 1898 and is a product of the Aesthetic period. The pattern features a flower medallion at the very start of the handle, just beneath the bowl of the spoon. The handle end has a lovely shape and has a combination scroll and flower pattern which reminds one of chivalry. This 5-7/8" teaspoon is marked with the "Eagle Wm.
