This is a milk glass chili bowl that looks just like the Fire King chili bowls except that this one has a little scene on the inside. It was actually made by Mar-Crest and is part of the Currier and Ives series. The little blue scene inside is entitled "The Old Farm Gate". The bowl measures 5" wide at the top and 2-1/4" tall; it is only marked on the bottom with a number 27. It is in excellent condition with no chips, scratches or cracks; the bowl is clean, glossy and new looking.

Is it time to harvest the strawberries? This enamelware kitchen strainer is perfect for cleaning them. This was an item that was made in Korea exclusively for Teleflora in 1983 but it sure is a charming piece. It is all white with a red strawberry motif on the sides and even a couple on the interior. Here is a large footed open compote in the shape of a brandy snifter. The glass is delicately thin and measures 8-1/4" tall x 5" wide. There is a beautiful hand painted raised flower garland running around the middle which is bordered by shiny gold trim bands. Possibly Italian made. Very elegant!
