This is an unusual piece as it can be placed into a corner or hung flat against the wall. The wood appears to be Mahogany, however I cannot guarantee this as I am not a wood expert. It is lightweight for its size. All the parts are intact and the unit is in good usable condition. I gave it a cleaning, however it needs a bit more detailing.
