Published in 1996 by the Museum of Modern Art in New York, this soft cover book is a retrospective of the work of Roy DeCarava. His photographs, the majority taken in his native New York City, capture life as he knew it. His mother was an immigrant from Jamaica and he was born in Harlem in 1919. He makes Harlem and New York City come to life in this book. The condition of the book is very good. There is some wear on the edges and the spine is lightly creased.

The dust jacket has creases and some minor tears but is overall in good shape.

Unfortunately, I do not have the box or any paperwork so she is priced accordingly.

This soft cover book, published in 1994 by the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, is a retrospective of the work of photographer, Dorothea Lange (1895-1965). This is an excellent book and contains many photographs detailing Ms. Lange's work during the 1930s and 1940s. Everyone should recognize Plate 43 (see picture)--the careworn face of a migrant mother. The condition of the book is very good. There is some wear along the top and bottom edges but the spine is not creased.

Produced from 1987 to 1994, a set of 4 mugs in the Crane with Pine pattern. They are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing. They have gold-color edging and a wonderful crane in flight with pine tree branches on the cream background. A delightful set for someone at Christmas who loves birds. The mugs stand at 3 3/4 inches high and have a nice large handle.
