The model still has the original paper label on the base. There is a little wear to the two tufts of hair at the front, as illustrated and crazing to the glaze on the base.

A fine Royal Doulton stoneware harvest jug decorated with finely sprigged images of toppers, huntsmen, hounds, windmills and trees. The main body is salt glazed and the neck and shoulder of the jug are covered in a rich chocolate brown glaze. The jug has an impressed mark on the base used by Doulton Lambeth c.1902-22 and 1927-36. The jug is in very good condition. There is no damage or restoration. The jug is 6.7 inches tall.
