This ceramic duck is in excellent condition. Vintage but not the ceramics of the 1940's. A cute duck for Easter and made like a small basket with white wire handles. I could think of a million things to do with it. Fill it w/ chocolate Easter eggs, or put a small plant in it. Cotton bowl for the babies room or bathroom. Well, you get the idea. Saucer size dishes, they are vintage from 1987 and shown on the bottom of the plate. I'm not sure who the maker is but the logo is there. It looks like something from Fitz and Floyd but the companies name is The Haidon Group. The bunnies have lettuce around them and, of course, that pink eye and nose!! The dishes are ceramic with a heavy glaze. Up close you can see some crazing, as age does this to these heavily glazed pieces. But it also is proof of vintage and not new! I purchased these in the 1970's when I had a room in my home that was decorated in Oriental Style. Forward 40 years, and about 14 homes later, I have only had these box and stored since the 80's. They were never used. Just sat on a pretty tray on an Oriental table. The "look" is coming back, but will no longer be apart of my decor. They are from Japan.
