This wonderful bit of railroadiana was produced by Avon between 1974 and 1976. The white milk glass mug is decorated with a decal of a turn of the century locomotive. According to the description on the box, "the shaving mug which inspired our designer may have belonged to a railroad engineer or conductor." The box also explained that it was common for men to keep a personalized shaving mug at his barbershop.
