This is a Royal Bayreuth plate from Bavaria c. 1910. The fore ground depicts the scene of a young woman feeding her chickens. The background portrays a rustic setting of trees, mountains and clouds. Feather strokes of additional chickens can been scene. This plate is in very good condition with the usual flaws. In addition, it appears as though at one time someone put a small sticker on and the adhesive effected the finish. This is not visible unless the plate is tilted to the light.
