Very pretty classic cameo brooch. The frame is marked "Sterling" on the back. The cameo is carved of shell and pictures a pretty lady wearing a corsage. Our brooch measures 1 1/8" long ad 5/8" wide. The sterling may need polishing, but I see no problems with the frame or the cameo shell. A nice gift for yourself or a loved one.
