This outstanding Antique Majolica Leaf Plate, with its soft turquoise border, pink inset, has a center of an embossed variegated leaf of greens, browns and yellows, measures 12" by 9". Majolica ceramics were made in 19th century in Britain, Europe and the USA, with molded surfaces and colorful lead glazes. There are no chips, cracks or repairs. There are markings on the reverse of the plate.
