In the early 20th century animals were designed with a more simple and streamlined form, and were manufactured by every pottery company from Shawnee, Sylvac, Morton, and even Wedgwood. Green was a popular choice of color for animals during the 1930s -1950's. This wonderful deer figurine, with its shiny, colored glaze, was manufactured during this time.
