This is a fabulous Scheurich 520-28 Glazed Turquoise" 1970's Scheurich hourglass form vase with pop art color and design. The mottled turquoise finish is very rare, as the form number 520-28 comes in a variety of finishes. The vase is in wonderful condition, with no chips, cracks, or repairs. The vase measures 11 1/2" in height, 11 1/2" in circumference and it has a 2 1/2" opening at the top.

They call this fat lava, but there's nothing 'fat' about this remarkable streamlined butterscotch, brown and white volcanic glazed vase. West German pottery is extremely collectible with its distinctive patterns, textures and shapes and Scheurich is one of the most sought after manufacturers today.
