The mistress of the family sat primly for her daguerreotype portraiture. This was recently purchased at an estate sale, where we were informed that she was a descendant of the Willey family, who immigrated from Scotland between 1766 and 1822 - to both the United States and Canada. The family has been well documented and family members thrive to this day. The matriarch is demurely dressed in a black frock, with a scalloped lace collar and a brooch at her neck . The portrait of a handsome young man, which was recently purchased at an estate sale, where we were informed that she was a descendant of the Willey family, who immigrated from Scotland between 1766 and 1822 - to both the United States and Canada.
