A fine vintage gravy boat with attached underplate by Franciscan China in their Apple pattern, which consists of hand-painted apples over an embossed body. It's 8.75" by 6" by 3,75" tall. Condition: there's a u-shaped hairline in the underplate (see pics), otherwise fine. Mark: underglaze Franciscan backstamp dating to the 1960s or 1970s.

In the 1930s, solid-color dinnerware was exceedingly popular and every pottery produced at least one pattern in this style. Franciscan had several, including El Patio, which was a causal dinnerware like in classic shapes, offered in several colors. These are the cups and saucers in in yellow, which were produced between 1934 and 1947. Condition: as new, no wear or damage. Mark: underglaze "Made in USA" backstamp. We have six; price is per set.

Made for the 50th anniversary of the launch of the Desert Rose pattern, this round trinket box was made in England in 1990 by Franciscan china. It has raised decoration with hand-painted flowers. It's 4" in diameter and 2.75" tall. Condition: there's a tiny piece of clay caught in the glaze on the side, otherwise fine, no wear or damage. Mark: mold-marked Franciscan, black printed Franciscan 50th anniversary backstamp.

Here's a nice piece of vintage California pottery dinnerware. It's a chop plate (round serving platter) in the Apple pattern, manufactured by Franciscan. the plate is 12.125" in diameter. Condition is excellent: there are a few scattered utensil marks in the center of the platter, but no other wear or damage. Here's a nice piece of vintage California pottery dinnerware. It's a two-part oval vegetable bowl in the Apple pattern, manufactured by Franciscan. The bowl is 10.75" long by 7" wide by 2.125" tall. Condition is near mint: I see one 0.125" long utensil mark in the bottom of one section, no other wear or damage.
