A large conch shell-shaped bowl or planted in the Modern style by the Hull Pottery. It is glazed in a mottled matte orange glaze. It's 9.5" long by 6.5" wide by 6.75" tall. A fine, large Mid-Century Modern pottery vase by Hull. This piece is from their Capri line (circa 1961), which consisted of pieces dry-brush glazed in contrasting colors like this piece. In this case, the glaze is a light tan over pistachio green. The vase has a great Modern form with a pair of "spouts" at the mouth. It's 13.5" tall and 7.5" in diameter at the base. A large, mid-century modern trefoil (three-lobbed) vase by Hull Pottery. This piece isn't from a named line, but it's got a great glaze treatment: a deep forest green shading to a pale, almost chartreuse at the top. The vase is 9.25" tall and about 6" across. Condition: all-over crazing and a small (0.125" across) flake chip along the edge of the base. Marked on the bottom: Hull USA 110. Here's a beautiful piece of Hull pottery. It is in their Wildflower pattern. It is a large and unusual vase, with a great, late Art Deco style, with the inverted handles. This Wildflower pattern was produced by Hull in 1946-48. This piece is a W12 vase. There is a large grouping of wildflowers on the front and a single flower on the back. The vase is 9.5" tall.
