The Pennsbury Pottery was founded in Morrisville in 1950 by Henry and Lee Below. The Belows had been employed at Stangl before deciding to start their own pottery in Pennsylvania. The pottery operated until 1970. This is a large Eagle pattern pitcher. It has the American Eagle holding a banner reading, "E. Pluribus Unum" on one side and the American shield on the other. This is a Pennsbury Pottery pretzel bowl in their American Eagle pattern. It is decorated in the center with a large, hand painted bald eagle clutching an American shield and an olive branch and a bunch of arrows in its talons. It has a banner reading, " E. Pluribus Unum" in its mouth. The bowl is 11.75" long by 8.5" wide by 2.75" tall. Marked on the back, PENNSBURY POTTERY. Condition is as new, no wear or damage.
