A fine, turn of the 20th century Gorham silver plate ladle in a very plain, Colonial pattern, this ladle is engraved with a script "M" at the head of the handle. It is 11" long and 3.5" across the bowl. Condition is excellent: light, all-over wear, as one would expect on a 100 year-old piece of silver. There are three small spots of bare metal on the back of the handle, where it rested against the rim of the tureen. Otherwise fine. Marked GORHAM CO with an anchor.

A fine set of small Mid-century Modern silverplate candleholders by the Danish company Treidar. They consist of a conical foot with a triangular-shaped bobeche with rounded corners. These candle holders accept the small Danish-style candles which are about 0.5" in diameter. They're 2.5" in diameter and 1.25" tall. Nozzles are 0.5" in diameter. Condition: usual light surface wear, otherwise fine. Mark: stamped TREIDAR DENMARK under the foot.
